A long drive, BUT... by DerJon
We entered New Brunswick not expecting anything. Then, Dad’s car overheated, so we turned around and headed back to the US, fixed it, drove around, and crossed again. As we crossed back into NB, we got searched. After that, everything was perfectly fine. This is a place where you can drive 300 miles and not even realize it. The scenery was awesome, the sparsly placed/populated small towns all are worth a look. You see signs for towns advertising things like the world’s largest axe, etc. Very nice! We ended up visiting Fredericton (the capital) and Moncton. We also drove the entire length of Trans Canada route 2. We got off in Grand Falls, also. (Highest falls east of Niagara). They speak some French and a lot of English in NB, but it makes for a nice mix! The bridge to Prince Edward Island was very nice, and the Fundy Coast is a site worth seeing! I liked New Brunswick, it had a little bit of everything!
PS: Shediac is the lobster capital of the world for a reason!
