Mie
I have heard it told that Mie is “the Tibet of Japan”. Is it because it is so unknown or that perhaps it has the Japanese equivalent to the Portola in Ise Jingu. I do believe that there is space for many foreigners to meet and get together in order to network and share experiences. I hope to hear from you all.

I moved to Komono-cho six years ago. I live in the Odaka Highlands where Nature is bountiful. Peace isn`t a luxury and solitude reigns supreme.

Worth visiting!
When I visited, Mie was still quite rural. A good place for mountain potters, rice fields and bamboo.
