Amazing place. The snow is fantastic and the food is incredible. You gotta eat sushi, expecially crab. If you’re a snowboarder, it’s amazing and can be cheap if you know your way around. Awesome powder adn some great tree runs. I was a fox in the snow while I was there.over 6 years ago
Definitely worth visiting. I didn’t go there when it’s winter, so I’ll leave the beautiful snowy scenes to others to describe. Hokkaido is nice in summer as well, especially when you’re visiting the lavender fields. Great for hikers and people who wanna get closer to nature.
Suggestion: Try lavender-/melon-flavoured soft cream! These are Hokkaido’s famous foods (omiyage)over 6 years ago
