been to dharamshala, palampur & mcleodgunj
some cool place and the dhauladhar mountain covers the state in a cool white blanket ..
mcleodgunj is made famous by the tibetians and the Dalai Lama .. it is one peaceful place to be to ..
the places are totally different from (esp mcleodgunj) the rest of the state …
the road transport is good but the roads are at places broken .. be there in the cold weather and it is surreal ..

USP

go there and get invited to a marriage .. it is called DHAM there .. and is a sitdown lunch which is offered .. which is one of the best meals that you can have in Himanchal ..

Visit this place if you want to trek but are stopping because of lack of experience. It is a level 1 trekking place but at the same point doesnt restrict you from having some breath taking moments. Ideal for girls and women too. Amazing scenes and climate is too good. The back drop of Himalayas is quite assertive.
