The towns are very nice, and the scenery is amazing.

Such a beautiful province with so much culture to offer. More people need to check it out!

Our backpack was stolen off a bus in Kunming, leaving us without plane tickets or camera; but the trip up from Kunming to Dali and Lijiang was still amazing. Yes, very much on the tourist trail, but enjoyable nonetheless.

yunnan is a lovely, sweet dream that never ends. i fell in love. the next time i go to china i plan on flying directly into yunnan and staying there for my whole trip.
