Worth visiting!
Wonderful in the summer, lots of simple, relaxing things to do, especially if you get a boat, meander along and moor up at a great English pub. Can’t beat it, but not sure about the winter.

We took a couple of days at the beginning of November to get a glimpse of Norfolk, the home of some of my ancestors. Loved it! The weather was beautiful, which helped a lot. The Saxon round-tower churches and the small villages are most photogenic. We’d like to spend more time here when we can.

We spent a lovely week with friends of my Mom’s in a little town called Heacham. John Rolfe lived there and brought his wife, Pocahontas, back there with him from America. She apparently loved Heacham and didn’t want to leave… She died on a ship on her way back to America with him. Her grave has been lost, but we saw a nice plaque about her in the small church in Heacham in the family plot.
We got to see a lot of the coast and see what life is like in England since we were staying in a home. It was really fun and the place was really charming. Went to Sandringham “House”. Charles and Camilla had just been there, and it had just reopened after their visit. Shopped for soaps and sachets at the Lavender farm and ate lots and lots of yummy food.
