Jönköping

In august I’m going to Jönköping for approximately 5 months to do my study abroad there! I want to have a great experience and get to know a lot of people from all kinds of nationalities. This will be the first time for me to live on my own, so I see it as a good test for my level of independence.

Because its near Habo and I can’t get Habo on my 43places list.

Sweden had very little time to make an impression on me—maybe a day or two. But what a day. I arrived by ferry from Denmark, driving up to the woods near Jönköping (which is pronounced nothing like English phonetics might suggest). It was midsummer day, and everything down to the gas stations was locked down. Meanwhile, people wandered the streets, drunken, barefoot, with flowers in their hair. Truly a wondrous sight.
