Beautiful. Authentic. Safe. A cultural billionaire. The bus systems can get you anywhere, even that manifestación (protest) that you have to get to on Saturday afternoon. May I recommend walking to a town (use the camino arrows! most towns are within an hour or so of each other, and what a way to see the country!) Get ready for the trip of your life. over 5 years agoThis is Basque for "Basque Country" by cafegroundzeroI’ve been twice. This is the land of some of my mother’s ancestors. In Guipuzkoa. over 7 years agosan sebastian film festival by pantufla82we had a great time. took an overnight bus to san sebastian from madrid. stayed in a great hostel in the center of the city. went out. bought tickets to see 2 movies in the firlm festival (hero and open range) the next day ran into kevin costner at a cafe and he ate breakfast with us. took a bug back two days later. rained a lot when we were there, but it was beautiful over 7 years agoErasmus in Euskadi! by BenedettaIn 2003 I went to Vitoria-Gasteiz in the Basque Country (Euskadi) thanks to the Erasmus programme. I spent there a really good time: people are very nice, the culture and the history of the place are so interesting and the the most important cities of the Country are absolutely worth visiting!
