Calabria

this is my second home, my gradparnts are from there, and we go all the time. I think i would loose my sanity if I didn’t go every year…it’s beautiful, relaxing, not crowded and the food is genuine and so are the people.

My dad is from Calabria. We spent some time there this summer. It is wonderful. The people have no worries and are very friendly. There is a four hour siesta each day which is great for a mid afternoon nap. We spent just about every day at the beach which isn’t very far from anywhere. I can’t wait until next year when I get to go back and enjoy some more of the great culture.

But otherwise, not enough interest to make up for the crowding, the bureaucracy, the theft, and the lack of infrastructure for travellers.
