Saarland

....and yes, you have to go see that place. It is so beautiful, lots of open land, woods and little rivers.And lots of old roman stuff to see.
Everybody is friendly and open-minded and just loves to have a good time.
Saarlaender are very easy-going people, focused on the basic, important things in life.
And it is so close to the border of France and Luxemburg…so you can experience 3 different cultures at the same time.
And if you go a bit up north…there is the Pfalz with lots of castles and lots of wine.
Saarlaender like beer though and we have a few very nice breweries there worth to be visited. Enjoy!
