Canoeing in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern — 3 years ago
Worth visiting!
You can rent a canoe or a cayak almost everywhere and almost anyone can go on a trip on the lakes.
Rates are quite cheap, we’ve paid around 100 Euros for 5 days with a canoe and equipment.
Around the “Mecklenburgische Seenplatte” or the “Müritz”, there’re a lot of camping site where a pair of water wanderers can stay over night (for around 12 Euro).
On the big lakes, you’re often overtaken by bigger motorboats or yachts, but there’re a lot of small rivers forbidden for motorboats.
