A review of this place: Grand Central Market

Los Angeles’ first open air market, The Grand Central Market, still operates in a large open area on the ground floor of the Homer Laughlin Building on Broadway, across the street from the beautiful Bradbury Building.

I love this place! Great food stalls throughout, I love the old juice bar on the West end, the fish sellers, the Chinese herbal medicine sellers, this place has got it all. Angel’s Flight is just across the street from the West entrance, and a subway stop is there too.

I hope the stalls remain independent and the chains don’t get into it (there’s already one on the East entrance).
