A tip I have about this place
The architecht left his footprint near the front entrance, and the workers who completed the church left little busts of themselves on the columns.
On the ceiling, there are crests of people who donated money to have the church rebuilt. My favorite one is yellow and has a menorah on it; the Jews of Munich gave money to help rebuild a Catholic church, and the Catholics gave money to help rebuild synagoges, too. Such a nice story.

Teufelschritt (Devil's Footprint)
In the entrance hall to the Frauenkirche, you can find a footprint in one of the stones. Legend has it that this is the devil’s footprint. The legends vary, but one of them says that the devil entered the church, and from his viewpoint, there were no windows in the church. He thought, “Who would want to go to a dark church?” and stomped his feet for joy, leaving a footprint. Another legend says that the builder of the church made a pact with the devil by agreeing to not build any windows. He built them anyway, and when the devil found out, he stomped his foot out of anger.
