I’ve only been searching for like 15 minutes, but I figured someone here might know. I really don’t have any plans to go any time soon-perhaps by the time I’m in the position to it’ll be easier, but I was just curious. Can a regular tourist visit Iraq yet, or do you have to get special permission? I guess that’s all I’ve got to say for now. Mange takk to anyone who has an answer to this. over 6 years agoWas stationed at the Baghdad International... by herzogI spent a year here, running convoys to various other bases, cities and villages in Iraq and Kuwait. It gets insanely hot in late summer, incredibly wet in the winter, and the rest of the time its just dry, hot and dusty. Baghdad itself was an amazing city, full of history, romance, and violence few can imagine. The people are friendly, although there are a few who are, understandably, hostile to Americans. I fully intend on visiting this place again in 5-10 years! over 7 years agoSee all 8 entries |
