The last time I went to this place  — 1 year ago

This is such a beautiful island. My parents have returned there and I love going to visit them. I love the slow pace of the island, the odd events and the fact that you can get around the island so easily in crazy moving vans. My fav places in SVG are Black Point Tunnel, Mount Wynne, Dark View Falls and Richmond. I really love driving to the Windward end of the island, the views are just breathtaking and if your not careful you can forget to pay attention to the road. Travel and food are cheap. People are friendly and helpful, the services in the shops need to improve greatly and avoid the banks at the end and beginning of the months. E@gles is the best Internet Cafe and Irie Travel is the best place to go for travel information in particular if you plan to sail other Grenadines Island. I miss home greatly.

    It’s drop dead gorgeous.
Quite frankly, the islands the beaches, waterfalls.. it’s a beautiful place.

If going to one of the grenadines i recomend Bequia, it’s fabulous.

Everyone will love St. Vincent. Wonderful country – had some wonderful time there. Haven’t been there in a long time, was there during my high school years (1989-1994).

Great beaches … good for snorkelling. Wonderful volcanic formations.

Wot a gloriously lush and beautiful place this is. St Vincent is a beautiful volcanic island with black sand beaches. Mountainous, green and friendly. I stayed on the west side of the island and was able to take a little ferry to Young Island rite off the coast. Tropically delicious it was fabulous. I great stress buster. You’ve got to go. My most vivid memory was nearly driving off a cliff one nite on the way to the casino.

My dad was born and raised here and I’ve been to the island quite a few times in my childhood but haven’t been back in a long time. I do plan to return and enjoy the beauty of it though. Gorgeous island.

from the James Bond-ian setting of the shark pool on Union, to the utterly undeveloped Tobago Cays, to rustic Canouan, the rum smugglers on Carriacou.. the beachside barhopping on Bequia, lobster pizza at Mac’s…

Best to go by boat, living aboard so you can go where the wind and your mood takes you. Stay if you like somewhere, leave if you don’t.

Fave spots/things to do? Sneaking around the hotel grounds on PSV. Doing nothing at all in Salt Whistle bay on Mayreu. Easter regatta in Bequia.. (or New Year’s). Watching the girls on Palm Island. Drinks at the Frangipani. Floating in the waters of the Cays, dreamily plotting and planning some way to not have to go back home, ever…
