Making room for more immediate places now, and putting Chad on the back-burner. Maybe when I have more time and money.

I sponsor a young girl named Djimadoumngue from this country. I would love to go visit her someday. I really want to meet her and her family and see if the community has improved any since I began sponsoring her.

I just saw my first Chadian movie. It’s titled Abouna (our father) and is a very nice art-house movie. It touched me and it’s very well done.
I learned that a major language in Chad, as in many African countries North of Nigeria, is a French-Arabic complex.
I think someone said “au revoir. shukraan.” in the movie. That’s bye in French followed by thanks in Arabic.
