Swaziland

this place is amazing small country borders the upper left corner of south Africa, and is controlled by a evil king who resides in Mbabane. I got a bit by a lion in a lion park while we were visiting.

I met a lot of great people and I wish I could find out what they are doing with their lives right now. I attended in 1990-1992.

Swaziland is a very very small country in southern Africa…it only takes about 4 hours to cross the entirety of it! We stopped there briefly for lunch, and to see a glass factory…it was pretty cool, but I’m not an expert or anything!

We visited Swaziland en route back to South Africa. It was a very short visit. We stopped along the road to better see the view and had lots of little kids run up to say hi. They were very friendly. The poverty of the people is striking given how rich the King is reported to be (alledgedly owns the rights to make Coca Cola syrup for all of Africa & sells them the sugar as well)

Arguably the most beautiful place I’ve ever been to. Absolutely gorgeous!

I grew up near there

This was one of my favorite places while traveling to RSA. I had the best game drive there!!!

Totally worth the trip! Beautiful countryside, friendly locals, rich culture, proud traditions. I hope to go back for good some day.

While this is in incredibly tiny country, the people and the culture definately make the visit worthwhile

Half the country was tree farms and pulp mills the other half was sugar cane and refineries.
