Also check out the Mandarin Fish!!! over 5 years agoDiving Paradise by luvs2diveI lived throughout Micronesia for a little more than 3 years. I was fortunate enough to not only go diving around several islands, but I was a Scuba Instructor for the majority of my stay. I have to say that Palau is the MOSTAMAZING diving I have ever done. If you get a chance to make it this far from Mainland USA, you have to dive BLUECORNER. I dove it almost every day for 3 weeks straight and was never even close to bored—teeming with life of all varities and SHARKSSHARKSSHARKS… There is almost nothing else to do on Palau (although the Kayaking is awesome)…but if you love diving and want to be spoiled beyond belief…go to Palau. (Also recommend Jellyfish Lake (once) and many many other dives including wall dives, drift dives, cavern diving and a few wreck dives (that can be done without wreck training as they are not penetrating dives). The best way to do it would be a Liveaboard, but even if you just stay on Koror and do day trips, you will not regret your choice to go so far from home just to get wet!
