    Not worth it!

I’ve been a lot of places but this was one of my worst experiences. That’s just me though.

Why I recommend this place to locals  — 4 months ago

    Worth visiting!

Terrorism is still a threat in this country. although it is MUCH MUCH safer now, I would recommend you go only if you know somebody there and they can host you / show you around. Otherwise this country has got it all… beautiful beaches, perfect weather, pristine green mountains, sahara… you name it!

    Not worth it!

Well, I was born in algeria and left at age 4. This summer i went there alone for one month to see my familly and know where i was from. It was terrible….there were some 45years old man asking for my number and people would say it is “normal” even tho I am underage. Seriously…If you are a girl, do not go there, you’ll just be constently bothered by old pervs, crazy teenage boys with no respect and 30years old dumbasses still living with their moms and hoping they could hook up with everything that moves. If you go outside after 7 or wear a T-shirt that shows you have boobs or just shows your shoulders you wont be in peace the whole time you,d be outside of the house. Girls, be very careful when you are there, if a man talk to you you just keep walking and pretend nobody has spoken to you and DO NOT GO OUT ALONE! It was a very bad experience going to algeria….If only the mentality over there was different it owuld have been a great country…The view on top of Imagouraya is incredible, Bejaia is a beautiful city but still there….as a girl, you get bothered 24/7…

freaking amazing  — 9 months ago

    Worth visiting!

Travelled across the sahara, the sky at night is a blanket of stars that I will never forget.Sand dunes blow your mind they look so perfect. heat is incredible. You have the choice between drinking water that tastes like bleach or dehyrdating…it was a tough call!! We arrived at a small encampment where there was a tiny bar. We went to the bar and half way thoruhg the night I headed for the toilet. Suddenly, a sand storm whipped up, it was amazing, I couldn’t see two inches in front of my face and sand hurts!! I spent the night trapped in the toilet as there was no way I could make it anywhere.

Why I want to go to this place  — 1 year ago

It seems like it would be beautiful…
I would want to help the people and animals when I’m there…
It would make me more known about the world…

Again i went here with my mom and dad because my dad was in the military.I dont remember much. But i do remember the smiles of the people and roasted peanuts. I remember how mysterious it all was for me. I want to go back.

I think I'd rather visit Alabama first.  — 2 years ago

I mean, really consider the choice: Algeria (looks at left side)—
Alabama (looks at right hand and grins).

I could go to Algeria when God wills.
