We visited so many amazing places around the country, but there is so much to see, and with family driving us around I only got to see a small portion of the country. I cannot wait to go back already, the castles, the history, the beauty of it all is enthralling, I cannot wait to go back and see more. The people there are also amazing, if you have family or know anyone there…visit them!! They will give you tons of food and beer. The Czech Republic is a must see!!! 2 months agoCzeck Republic by herlingLoved it. Absolutely loved this country. The mountains, the little towns, Prague!!! The cheap food and extremely cheap and tasty beer. After czecks one day will repair all the roads and build up sightseeing sign system, I will return and love this country even more! over 3 years agoAbsolutely awesome by jkorabI have been meaning to get to Prague since I moved back to Europe about 7 years ago. If you’re from the UK when you think about the city these days, thoughts will probably be of stag parties. What I found was quite different. Step outside the immediate tourist district (which is going to be same-ish wherever you go) and you’ll find a city studded with art galleries, classical music, stunning architecture and really friendly people (as well as the beer, which you have to admit is worth travelling for, hence the stags). It’s a multi-faceted city, and what you’ll get from visiting it will completely depend on why you’re there. My folks, who had visited during communism from Poland went on and on about how awesome it was. The Bohemian bars, cafes, art – and all that’s still there. But to not romanticise the cold war era – Prague’s looking a whole lot better (even if it does have a few cheap trinket shops around). The view of the castle (hrad) from the river on a clear, snowing night is one of the most romantic sights on Earth. I’ve absolutely fallen in love with it and will definitely return. over 3 years agoGuide in Prague by dankaaaHello, I would like to offer you to guide you in Prague.
