This is my home! An amazing little country with amazing people, the best beer in the world, and some very beautiful and cool places to see. I love everything about Czech Republic

One of my favorite cities. I love this place. It is like a fairy tale. Very walable city with lots to see. The subway is small (3 lines if I recall) the views by the river are just beautiful. I lovee the street musicians… Everything about htis places was very romantic and beautiful even though I went with my cousin! it is good for just about any kind of trip.

Got back last week. Stayed in a secluded hotel on a frozen lake in a pine forest – a snow-covered one at that – simply beautiful. Had eight inches of snow while I was there, and this was in March! So I got really lucky. The region I stayed in was Moravia, and so lowland areas didn’t have as much snow.
Prague, Telc and Brno are wonderful cities, and well worth a visit – especially Prague! and the small villages you drive through are very pretty. The rolling countryside, I wouldn’t describe as beautiful, but it was nice, and interspersed by pockets of thick woodland.
Will definitely go back!

It looks pretty. I’d like to go in winter around Christmas time.

Staying in Velka Upa we didn’t have a lot of snow, but Pec pod Snezkou is great! And only a few minutes by free bus away..

A close friend of mine and I have a deal – when we both migrate to Europe and are living there as expats, we will travel to Prague and Budapest together, as a ‘hooray, we did it!’ trip. Prague is supposed to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The bridges, cathedrals, spires, and the castle… I must go there!
Brno, and the Moravian wine country, would also be great to visit.
