Cape Verde aka: Cabo Verde

This is a different country. The landscapes and the beaches, the music, the culture (morabezza) and people makes this an unique place in the world. I love Cape Verde and hope I can return there very soon.

I’ve been to Cape Verde and fell in love with the islands. I truly believe it is a rarity to find such a good mix of culture, good music, amazing beaches and all that Cape Verde has to offer. Check out my blog for a bit more info about traveling to Cape Verde:

Beautiful island, the beaches were spectacular, turquoise waves and golden powder sands, the people are friendly and very attractive, and having travelled to West Africa before, the area is relatively modern, e.g. the airport and other facilities are comparable to European standards. What I also appreciated was that it is very safe, something I liked as I went there as a single white female travelling alone. Next time I would like to see more of the other islands as well, Praia, Fogo, etc.

Beautiful place, beautiful music

I was there under the most trying of circustances. I would like to revist, and enjoy the place as I’m sure it should be enjoyed.
