A tip: city guides by locals by Ninja Neko

I like checking out tourist guides written about my own country/city. They can be pretty amusing from time to time, and sometimes they can be way off. I was sceptical when I stumbled on these free tourist maps, but when checking out my own city’s map (Antwerp) I was surprised to see all my favourite places listed! Their selection is pretty versatile too, it has the places I’ve shown to my friends, shown relatives visiting, go for drinks with coworkers and where I hang out myself on days off. I tried some places from their map when I first visited Mechelen (cross-checked with recommendations from friends) and it was again on spot.

Belgium by herling

The 4 times I´ve been to Belgium, every time it rains!

Somehow the rain manages to count down the points in my eyes that Belgium deserves. There are actually very nice towns to visit, for example Antwerp or Brugge.
