Idyllwild

Visited some friends up there. Nice area with lots of big trees.

We have a plan to visit some friends who have a cabin there. I love the idea of driving up out of the desert into the mountains. Have done it in other places.

Looking forward to a weekend of music with friends.

I visited Idyllwild for a wedding, and loved being there. I couldn’t believe how clear the air was, though it was a little too clear for me considering I’m used to breathing Los Angeles smog. The night I got there and the next morning, I had a horrible case of altitude sickness, since the town’s in the San Jacinto mountains. Lots of water, two aspirin, and some rest cleared my head up just fine.
