My buddies and I used to frequent Hillbrow record center. We used to spend ages sifting through all the records for hidden treasures.

We met some pretty colorful people on the streets there too. It’s an interesting place to wander through, but it wasn’t really considered ‘safe’ to do so back then – judging from the comment below mine, it still isn’t.
