Why I recommend this place to visitors
I’m from the bohemian/arts district of Long Beach (Southern California) and visited Glasgow Sept. 2006. I fell in love with the city and culture instantly. The friend that I was staying with lived down the road from the North Star and one morning we went down there to have breakfast. The place was very unique – I hadn’t seen any real bohemian type places in Glasgow other than this. Funny thing was, it reminded me of the coffeehouses I’d hang out at in Long Beach.
