Why I want to go to this place  — 1 year ago

I have been here several times before. I love to go camping with my famiy. Get away from the people and t.v. To just sit back relax and enjoy the fresh air.

Sulfur  — 1 year ago

Worth visiting!

This summer we drove through the Canadian Rockies, and it was gorgeous and hot.

We stopped at Liard Hot Springs in northern BC. I soaked for about an hour in the sulfur springs and then we hit the road again. There was very little choice of food along the Alaska Highway so we stopped at the only hotel we found.

The hotel was huge and expensive looking. We walked in and I was immediately worried about my smell and choice of clothing. The server had an accent and the place looks liked it should be right out of a ski resort ad. We were unbelievably embarassed about the smell we brought with us, and we got some weird looks.

Hot springs and expensive ski resorts don’t mix.

Otherwise, the area was still lovely. A ton of Buffalo.
