forest, waterfalls, views  — 2 years ago

Worth visiting!

I’ve been here twice for two different cousins’ weddings.

It seems a popular weekend place for people from Brisbane or the Gold Coast.

My mum used to go here on holidays as a kid in the 50s. Some parts of it haven’t changed (like the waterfalls and rainforest), but there are alot more quaint little bed and breakfasts etc. and there are more boardwalks (which is partly a good thing since she said they always got leeches on their walks).

The waterfalls (Curtin Falls, Witches’ Falls etc.) and rainforest are really nice. You also get a view over the gold coast from parts of the mountain.
