I love the street acts.  — 8 months ago

Worth visiting!

I wish we had street acts like that back here, so friendly and unique. Didgeridoo players, giant bubble blowers, one man bands, ect. I spent a whole day there just walking around the roads and interacting with the many bustling people. Took a great ferry ride to Manly, too.

This is the point where all views of the harbour begin (especially if you come into Circular Quay via train). The view from the railway station is AMAZING. It’s also the point where ferries are taken for trips around the harbour. Just a gorgeous place.

The opera house, the harbour bridge, the zoo, the botanic gardens…the worst food you will eat in sydney outside central station, the buskers that wouldn’t get a cent anywhere else, the seagulls, the ocean…gotta love it :D

It’s fun to go down here at sunset and take pictures. Use high speed film or take a tripod.

Gateway to Sydney Harbour  — 2 years ago

Worth visiting!

Circular Quay is the hub of Sydney Harbour, situated at a small inlet called Sydney Cove.

Take a ferry from here to many of the attractions around the bustling harbour including Manly, Watson .y, Mosman and Taronga Park Zoo.

There are great views of the Harbour Bridge, a short distance away.

On the southern side of Circular Quay is a walkway that leads to the Sydney Opera House and Royal Botanical Gardens
To the north, a short walk takes you to the Harbour Bridge and The Rocks, one of the oldestand most interesting parts of Sydney.
