Worth visiting!

walk the path from one end to the other, about 1.5 hours, midway through it’s a bit steep, so make sure you have good shoes.

the food is cheaper in So Kwu Wan; but there are some excellent cafes alone the path with some more traditional great food, such as warm tofu with syrup and fresh fish balls and squid, for 1/3 the price of the primary restaurants.

Very good Seafood. When you go to Lamma Island don’t go to one of the restaurant directly at the ferry. Walk on a little bit till there is a restaurant with a lot of logistics ads (dhl, stinnes and stuff like that) AND EAT AT THIS ONE. The food is fantastic.

I actually have thought about living here for awhile…it’d be a great place to retire to. Good food, VERY small towns (only two real towns on the island), no cars, sweltering humidity, lush greenery all around. What else can I say? A jewel set in the silver South China Sea.
