I come here a lot...  — 1 year ago

Worth visiting!

...to eat, drink and sit out at night even in the autumn, with a blanket under a heater, with others determined to resist the cold and watch the life on the street in this little oasis

Why I want to go to this place  — 1 year ago

Worth visiting!

I have been in Nyhavn.
The magic of colors, boats and people.
Hans Christian Andersens house.
Sitting by the water.
In the springtime, when there is yellow sun,
and wind.
You feel that strange amount of happiness
that you experience when you meet something
that is yours.

Worth visiting!

Even if too touristic, there’s plenty more to see in Koebenhavn !

Worth visiting!

The first time I was in Nyhavn, I thought to myself, “Hey, this is that place on all the postcards and guidebook covers!” True enough, and it’s just as picturesque (and, yes, touristy) as that would imply. Still, good for a stroll, and you’ll end up passing by here if you’re taking a ship anywhere, I think.

A beautiful harbour district  — 3 years ago

Worth visiting!

I really like harbour districts, they tell you a lot about the town or city you’re visiting. Copenhagen is no exception, and Nyhavn is probably one of the most beautiful (and cleanest!) old harbours I’ve ever seen—on par with the Victoria and Albert Waterfront in Cape Town, South Africa.
