This was also a place I went to for a school trip. It was innnnn 8th grade, I think. I remember going on this one rollercoaster like 3 times. They have this cool tube that goes under water, and you can walk through. I’d definitely explore it more if I went back.

We had free tickets. We went in, hopped on the roller coasters, then left. I had been there before and did the whole sea life thing… didn’t thrill me. I love coasters though!

definetly go early around 9:30-10am.. instead of catching the dolphin show (which you can do later on) go feed the dolphins and then at 2pm catch the Orca show because that way the whales are move active. which i noticed that from the morning show.. bring a small snack with you considering you will probably spend 20- 40$ per person on food alone.. and dine with shamu is well worth it for a late lunch if you choose. Shamu Rocks is soo worth it, ALWAYS make sure you arrive at any of the shows 45-50 minute prior before due to alot of people wantng good seats.. trust me ive been doing this for 20 years!!

David reserved us a spot at Discovery Cove….and with admission…you get a free ticket to Sea World or Busch Gardens in Tampa. We chose Sea World.
We spent the entire day there. We basically arrived once they opened…..we saw all of the animals and some of the shows that we wanted to see. The food was even wonderful….as was the fireworks at the end of the night.
The only thing that I really didn’t like was that all of the shows were basically at the same time…..or began before another ended. We didn’t get the chance to see every show that we wanted….but we still left in an amazed mood.

Go more than once! It is a wonderful place to go and there is a lot to see there. There are signs around suggesting that you get to shows 30 mins before they start to get a good seat, and that is totally true for the orca and dolphin shows, they were packed out and every seat was full. It’s not really worth arriving very early as a lot of the park is sectioned off and doesn’t open until 10.00am. The dolphin cove and nursery was so cute, and they have staff there to answer and questions and tell you all about the animals.
STAY AWAY FROM THE SHAMU SOAK ZONE! The water is soooo cold and you will get soaked through. You get a better view from the seats further back anyway.
Take a sweater for when you go into the arctic zone, it is freezing in there, they actually have a wall made out of ice!
If you love animals it is totally worth finding out about the tours they offer, we did the Predator and Polar ones and got to touch a shark and a penguin as well as going behind the scenes and learning a lot of stuff about the animals and the park.
This is one of the best places I have ever been to and would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

You can also feed tiny sharks (you drop them in the pond, you won’t get your hnd chewed up)

PLUS a mini-aquarium, super-store, and awesome thrill lide Voyage to Atlantis all in one!

I was on my honeymoon. I wanted to give my husband a behind the scenes tour of the penguins. We asked about it at the penguin exhibit and the lady we asked let us go behind the scenes for free! We got to hang out with two AWESOME penguins. It was well worth the trip. I can’t wait to take my kids there.

There’s not that too many rides here, not nearly as much as Magic Kingdom anyway, so I suggest that you go on as many rides as possible. Don’t be too picky!
