A temple to Mammon and instant gratification, as it were. But human scaled. I’m all for it. Nice for a wander about with friends.

It’s a cute neighborhood with adorable houses and lots of little shops and things. I’d like to expore it a bit more.

..although I’m considered a Fremont resident. I live in the very North-East corner of the neighborhood, by Nickerson Street and the Fremont Bridge, east of Seattle Pacific University by a few blocks. Call it Queenmont—or FreeAnne.
I like this neighborhood quite a bit. It’s very much a hybrid neighborhood that doesn’t have too much of anything… whether affluent or grimy or both. It’s just kinda there, and very pretty. I’ve lived in this corner of Seattle the entire time I’ve lived here—over five years. I consider myself a Fremont resident, because that’s where I do all my shopping and local errands. But I hope to stay in this specific part of Seattle as much as I can stand it.

I loved living in Queen Anne. It’s beautiful and fun and lively and a great walk-around area.
