Worth visiting!

Being a Frasier fan, I just had to go up it. It was cool looking down at the multi-coloured roof of the Experience Music Project, and out towards Safeco Field and Lake Union.

Why I want to go to this place  — 5 months ago

I have lived in seattle my whole life. and yet, i have never been to the top of the space needle. ron said he wants to take me there when he gets back from fishing. that would be really fun. i really love dressing up nice and going out with him.
i was so jealous when my mom told me that they took lulu there, and she was all surprised when i said i had never been there. but i hope that one day i can make a memory worth while, worth the wait of going to the space needle.

A review of this place: Expensive, bad food, overrated.  — 10 months ago

Not worth it!

This is the most expensive elevator ride in Seattle. The food in the revolving restaurant is terrible quality for the prices they charge.

I’ve lived in Seattle my entire life and I’ve only been up there once or twice. My dad was at the top during the Columbus Day storm (his birthday) right after it was built.

On a side note, the first thing I would do if I managed to obtain the Space Needle would be rev up the engine and make that revolving restaurant go.

Worth visiting!

In 1997 I started a new life, as it were, in this new city. I was staying a little inn called The Vermont, I believe it is on 4th Ave, maybe 5th. Anyway, arriving very late the previous evening, I didn’t have a chance to do much of anything, but sleep. I in fact didn’t even notice the Needle the night before.

But, the next morning as I awoke looking upside-down at the beautiful blue sky and this amazing structure perfectly framed in the window above my bed… It was simple and perfect. And lying there, I could only think, “I cannot wait to start living here.”

Seattle is a city full of great people and wonderful things. Be sure to do Sunday Brunch on the Needle, the food is OK, but the view is GREAT!

Not worth it!

Overpriced, crowded, claustrophobic, and the view isn’t really all that good. Go up the Smith Tower instead, or go over to that park on the side of Queen Anne.
