Worth visiting!

The robots met with the people from Picnik, another local company. We lost credit card roulette, so Picnik bought our pizza.

I personally have no strong opinions about pizza. For me, NY pizza is about NY, not the pizza. The last time i had pizza in NY we were standing on the sidewalk under an awning during a thunderstorm. Some guy who seemed to fancy himself a modern day Shaft blasted music from his crotch rocket motorcycle while eating his slice.

OK, this is a little embarassing...  — 1 year ago

Worth visiting!

but I actually ordered a pizza for delivery from here the other night. Embarassing, you ask? Why so? Well, if I walk to the end of the parking lot next to my house, I can SEE it! But I had a couple of friends over for a moving-in party, and was a bit tired. And lazy. And drunk. So there.

Good pizza all in all, but their crust is a bit soft for a “New York Style” pizza, and they are a bit spendy ($19.48 for a half pepperoni pie and caesar salad). As far as pizza on Capitol Hill goes, Hot Mama’s gets my vote.

Almost like New York pizza  — 2 years ago

Worth visiting!

A little on the expensive side, but all pizza is expensive in Seattle comparatively.

I used to be a New Yorker  — 2 years ago

Worth visiting!

There aren’t many things I miss about NYC anymore now that I live in Seattle (and love it much more than NYC). But…the two things I DO miss are the eclectic Sushi, the bagels, and most of all the pizza (I don’t miss being able to count, however).

Piecora’s is the closest thing I’ve found yet to really good New York City pizza in Seattle.

Good Pizza ... loose the attitude!  — 2 years ago

Not worth it!

Good pizza crappy service. That differs from New Yorks own “real Pizza places” They are cool… you all think you are too cool.
You would do better to make your own pizza at home. I know you guys are very cute you are full of yourselves.. enjoy the emptyness as me and my friends boycott your stinkin place.

nasty rumor: eggplant pizza may go away  — 2 years ago

Worth visiting!

Last week the waiter at Piecora’s asked me to petition the cook to keep eggplant pizza on the menu. Eggplant is one of my favorite pizzas at Piecora’s. The cook told me they’ll probably keep eggplant on the menu, but try to find a different supplier for the deep-fried eggplant that they use. The quality of their current eggplant has been going down the tubes—too rubbery and frozen in taste. I agree with the cook on this one.

Next time you’re there be sure to push for eggplant. It’s the bomb and I hate to see it go away.
