If not for the belugas...  — 3 weeks ago

Not worth it!

Vancouver was ok. I was only there for a bit, granted. But it’s big and expensive and bustling. I like the pace of Victoria better. Though I’ve only been here for a bit. But, the big beluga at the Vancouver Aquarium gave birth to a baby and this was a very amazing site to behold. Beyond that – eh.

What I imagine this place to be like  — 4 weeks ago

I’ve been told that Vancouver is like Seattle (which I loved), but with even more dramatic surrounding scenery.

Why I recommend this place to visitors  — 1 month ago

Worth visiting!

I went Vancouver a year ago with my friends to improve my English. We had so much fun and I just loved there. I miss being there in that beautiful city. It was wonderful. The people, the places, the ocean was unforgetable. I still sometimes wish to sit by the sea at the middle of the night and chat with my friends.

Why I want to go to this place  — 2 months ago

I learned it from books that it’s such a warm and beautiful city. But to go there is almost a fantasy. Hope one day I’ll add another entry when I’ve already in Vancouver.

I live fairly close and I’m always grumbling about how I’ve never been out of this country. Its almost stupid not to go.

The first time I went to this place  — 3 months ago

Worth visiting!

I visited Vancouver for 2 days before heading up to Whistler. I went in December. It was cold but not brutally so. Vancouver is full of coffee shops open 24 hours a day, cute boutiques, and it seems as though thousands of sushi restaurants.

The Anthropology museum at UBC, Stanley Park, and Granville Island are must sees.

Worth visiting!

was too short. We stayed 1 night and got on a boat north in the morning. What little we saw though was beautiful. I’ll spend a week next time.
