London

I finally went on the 1st to the 2nd, and it was pretty cool. A bit of a change from where I live but all the same, it was good. The streets were overwhelming at times, they were so crowded and a few of us got lost.. (school trip :]).
We went to all the main places, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, London Eye and etc. It was all really cool, though I got a bit freaked out on the Eye. But I was okay by the time we were at the top and I got some amazing pictures. We saw two shows in the West End, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, in which Lee Mead was Joseph, which everyone was seriously excited about, cause he’s pretty awesome. And we saw The Sound of Music which was basically just amazing.
Generally I think it was a nice place to visit, we stayed in a hotel called .. The Ibis, I think. It was quite nice but the planes woke us up at about half past six, which sucked. But yeah, I liked it, wouldn’t want to live there tbh, but all the same, a nice place to go for a few days.

Love it so cool! The people could be a little nicer but I had a blast went everywhere! Went on the “Jack the Ripper” tour it was soo freaky but its so awesome to be in a place where you know history happened!

Been here, but there is so much more to do here – I caught a lot of the history the first time and would like to explore more of it.

Swing by the Patisserie Valerie (Knightsbridge or Soho) for the best croissants anywhere, France included.

Strange, maybe, that I’m 14 + have never even been to my country’s capital, haha.
But I’m going on a school trip at the beginning of July :D
Can’t wait!

I’ve been to London twice now and both times I have found people to be rude, ignorant, and untrusting.

I think this is the attitude in the south in general.

Every northern city I’ve visited has been welcoming and the people have been great, not in London.

it’s like an old school NYC!

I have also written a review about Cambridge, UK one of my other must-not-sees. Personally, I don’t understand all the hype about London. It’s crowded, noisy, DIRTY (I mean really, really dirty) and it’s got no character whatsoever. The architecture is just a mishmash of whichever style was prevalent at the time of construction. I can’t stand the London Eye. That was just the icing on the cake. It’s an eyesore and wherever you go in the city you see it. It’s also a VERY expensive city and you just don’t get much for your money. So, if you think about going to London but haven’t made up your mind yet, just DON’T, it’s not worth it. I recommend Budapest in Hungary, beautiful architecture, lovely people, stunning scenery, great food and dirt cheap. London’s no match for Budapest.

Now I’ve never actually visited London before, nor even England but this is one of the places that I would like to live for at least a year or two of my life, so much to learn and to see.

London is a life changing experience overall, usually for the good. The people are more accepting, the air is cleaner, the food is healthier, and society in general is more considerate. :)
