Hasselt

I studied here for 3 years. You can do the entire town within the ‘green boulevard’ on foot. Even so, the busses within the ‘kleine ring’ are free. They proclaimed themselves as ‘Capital of Taste’. And they do indeed have some nice shops and museums.

• Fashion Museum
• Jenever Museum
• Jeneverfeesten

I’d recommend going to Hasselt for a day of shopping, I wouldn’t advise any globetrotters on a schedule to visit Hasselt.
