Chiba

Chiba in general is a pretty boring prefecture. There’s Narite, which can take a day or so, Nokogiriyama can also take a day or so… other than that there’s a few beaches along the boso penninsula, but none of them are particularly fantastic. It’s a nice place for me because I live here, but if I was travelling I wouldn’t bother with it much.

Largest trash dump in the world. Also extremely organized and cleanest dump to exist, anywhere…

I used to visit here as a kid, as my mom’s side of the family lived here for many years until moving a bit more out of the city. I don’t remember much, other than some cool fields to catch bugs in and lots of pachinko parlors (which they let me into even though I was too young—my brown hair was like a free pass to all restricted areas).
