Hudson

I came to Hudson for the first time less than a year ago and instantly fell in love with it. The architecture is amazing, but the thing I loved the most was the people .I have lived in NYC for most of my life often in some very dicey neighborhoods. I used to really love it, but then Rudy Giuliani came along and turned it into Disneyland. When I first showed up in Hudson, I loved how cosmopolitan everyone was, but without the attitude.

Now ten months later I am here more than I am in NYC and buying a house here (It’s still some of the least expensive Real Estate this close to New York). I love that it is urban, I don’t really see myself out on a farm. I don’t own a car, but at two square miles, Hudson is completely walkable or bikeable. Now if there was only a decent grocery store in town. I guess one of the dozens of antique shops will have to close first. It’s great here, See for yourself.

Hudson is wonderful, not much to look at, fantastic architecture, boring, Can have fun night life if you work it, small town, big city people, cool locals, to be continued…..
