McDonough

i grew up in this town. born and raised…17 years I spent there.

not what it used to be thats for sure.
used to be all about big pick up trucks…who had the most dirt and mud on their truck. now most of us who used to care about that have moved out and moved on.

Well, it’s ok, but nothing shocking really. Just your average saburban town.

I went here once, with my boyfriends band, Father Figure.. for a show.. the show was good.. but the town was small and I otherwise would not go there.. It was a long trip in a van with no AC and lots of rain.. good times.. good times… I smoked a cigarette! lol

It’s a place. You might as well go to downtown Atlanta. There are some trashy rednecks in McDonough.
My aunt lived there for a while, it was ok. Traffic on 75 sucks!

McDonough is a great city in the middle of Henry County, Georgia. It is really close to the Atlanta Motor Speedway and is the home of Southpoint Mall (Opening Spring 2006!). Henry County is a close distance to Atlanta and has grown greatly in the last 10 years…it is actually the 4th fastest growing county in the nation!
