The promenade has a fantastic view and while I was there had a lantern display near the clocktower of a giant dragon with 10 men in funny poses (there is some story about it which I forget). The Avenue of stars was a little small but kind of fun, then I walked into some mall to use the toilets and they had this funny quirky plastic statues of all the star signs. I particularly liked the Capricorn goat.

It’s worth taking the Star Ferry there (or from there).

    Worth visiting!

Many of museums in the territory are located in the area. It is depicted as a cultural centre. We visited the Hong Kong Museum of Art featuring exhibits such as The World of the Etruscans and Hair Dialogue (Installation Art Exhibition).

The first time I went to this place  — 2 years ago

I stayed in Tsim Sha Tsui for my trip… in one of the dodgyest bakpacker sites in Hong Kong… Chunking Mansions. All these people harass you as you enter, pretending to be from your hostel (apparently they take you to a fake check-in and take you money). Aside from the general dodgyness and the constant ‘Madam would you like to buy a rolex’... it’s a pretty cool place.

    Worth visiting!

As a local, I have to tell you that you must visit here when you come to HK, no matter what happens. :)
