Eating at caffe minnie's  — 1 year ago

This a place that I have been going to for about 3years and I yet have something bad to say about it. The food is ok. Great thing is that its open all night and the help has been good. so go if you like good food, great people to talk to at any time day or night. Come on by.

Question: What are the favorite Belltown bars of Belltown residents?  — 2 years ago

Worth visiting!

Belltown seems to be a pretty popular place at night… but it seems like many of the people at the bars (especially on Friday and Saturday nights) have come from other neighborhoods and even cities. It would be interesting to hear which bars us residents thought were the best.

I spend most of my time at Shorty's, Rendezvous, and Cyclops. How about you?

A tip I have about this place  — 2 years ago

Worth visiting!

Belltown used to be a very economically depressed part of town. Nowadays there are a lot of condos and trendy clubs, but they haven’t quite managed to get rid of the homeless people. Somehow I don’t think they’re going to do it by building homes that cost half a million dollars to own. So anyways, be ready for an interesting and very sharp split in the kind of folks you’ll meet there: youngish folk dressed in the newest, most expensive clothes, and street people layered in garb from the nearest Salvation army.

It’s what I see when I look out my windows. It’s where I am when I walk out my door. It’s the home of the Bent

Awesome Urban Lifestyle  — 2 years ago

Worth visiting!

I’ve lived in the Seattle area for 25 years and Belltown is by far, my favorite neighborhood. I spend most of my free time building a website about the real estate. More and more people are deciding to walk to a concert or movie, rather than listening on the radio or going to the nearest Blockbuster. The condominium market is exploding as we yearn for the hustle and bustle of urban living. For many, it’s becoming more savvy and fullfilling to live a busy life. Belltown and other Downtown Seattle areas are satisfying that urge.

Great!  — 2 years ago

Worth visiting!

I lived in Belltown for three months as an intern. I couldn’t have picked a better location. Restaurants and bars are everywhere, as well as markets, salons , and anything else. If I ever move back to Seattle, I wouldn’t mind living in Belltown, but having a family now, it probably won’t happen.

Nightlife...  — 2 years ago

Worth visiting!

The nightlife is ridiculously fun.

Belltown Billiards, Bada Lounge, Medusa, Ohana’s, & Jai Thai are my absolute favorites, although Ohana’s has some pricey drinks.

Worth visiting!

I lived in Belltown for the last 3 years and just moved over to West Seattle. Yes, I turned 30 and they kicked me out… Belltown is a great place to live and play. I could go get my hair cut, go to the doctors, take the dog to the park, get my teeth cleaned and visit 10 bars all within 2 blocks of my house. There is a community feeling there during the week but then the weekend comes and look out…Ah 21 year old Eastsiders!Anyhow, Belltown is great place to live if you can afford the rents and don’t need a yard. I enjoyed my time there.
