Kos

1 day trip and i got sun stroke – take a hat drink plenty and try to find some shade – good luck x

we had a lot of fun there!

Its ok for sunbathing (and getting red) and fun/action. For sightseeing it is not worthwhile, the two main attractions (the castle in town, nice and the windmill, dodgy) are not worth going there

I will be at Kos in August this year. I do not expect much, rather a typical touristy place with a lot of sunbathing and consumerism… but let’s be curious and maybe get surprised. :)

I wanna go to isola di kos because I think is one of the best of Greece Dodecanneso Islands… there is so a lot of history of Greece past, and also woderful beaches…

Was an Oyzerie on the main road. If you travel by bus there, you’ll know the mainroad well. About 20 minutes out of Kos town there is a turning, on the left, for Pyli, just before the duck pond. On that junction is the most authentic place I found to eat – And they stock about 20+ different Ouzo’s. Wish I hadn’t found it the day before I went home!

Went to Kos with my gf in 2002.
Try to get a hotel in the center of Kos and not outside in the nowhere :)
Nice beach and nice monuments and old ruins for visiting.

My mum was born here and I had many adventures with my sister and cousins during my first visit in 1976.
I have lived here for a while and have loved it as my aunty still lives here and she is like a second mum to me.
The island is sweet and once you get off the tourist track, there are wonderful times of being one with nature!

A beautiful and relaxing place to go and chill out

I thought Kos was good, I stayed at a small village. The Island itself was a sight to be seen and i thought the entertainment and shops were good. I only stayed for 2 weeks but I really enjoyed it
