Palma de Mallorca

A wonderful place!!
There are many palm trees and loverrrrly sandy beaches.
Some men were making some faboulaaastic sandcastles.
It was fun.

I was 19 when I first visited this place with three of my friends from Germany. It was heaven. The beaches have white sand and the water is warm like bath water. So relaxing. One of the best times in my life.

This is one of the most beautiful islands in the world. I would strongly suggest visiting to anyone that wants to see why Spain is worth going to.

I last went here during Easter 2007.

The weather was pretty bad, but walking around Palma is great, people are still out doing stuff, and it doesn’t just close down.

If your into walking, you can get lost in the small streets and always find your way back. And if your into all the qualities of home, a good old fast food place, a huge department store and an Internet cafe isn’t far away.

Went for a week-long writing retreat. It was lovely, but I probably would have valued the time more if I hadn’t been so distracted by stress at home. Of course, if I had waited for the mess at home to be straightened up before I made any travel plans, I would not have gone anywhere in 2006. So, maybe the lesson is, JUST GO.

Go when you are single!!
