Felt at home there.
Jumping off point for Piandellagotti.
That’s another lovestory.
I wish I could go back there.

The architecture here is very grand and I loved it here.

But it is a quiet place, and perhaps dull for some

Worth visiting!

Modena has a great atmosphere, OK, I wasn’t there for long, and I was staying in the mountains nearby with friends, but on the few brief occasions that we actually managed to get into the city I found it charming, classy, historic and fascinating… It is a garrison town, and also the home of Masarati cars, and balsamic vinegar. Well worth a visit,, I’d love to go back for longer…

Definitely stop by Acetaia Malpighi for amazing aged balsamic vineager. If you’re up for the splurge of your life on a really rarified meal, go to Fini.
