Rockefeller Center at Christmas

i love everything Christmas so why not go to Rockefeller Center at Christmas right? yes this one will make one of my friends gag! haha. o well!

so i went on x mas and i am glad i did but its crowded and not soo great but you should still go

Xmas day 07. Completley packed and crazy!! But still so beautiful and magical.

My boyfriend proposed to me in front of this beautiful tree last year!!!!! New York is such a romantic place. I live in Florida now (temp) but am longing for the day I can afford to move back to NY!

Time your visit CAREFULLY – the closer it is to Christmas, the more packed and insane the crowd is. I find that after New Year’s is better than late December.

While you’re there make sure you rent some skates. Also head to Serendipity 3 for hot cocoa when you’re done skating.

It’s cool to see if you’re already in the city, but I wouldn’t plan a vacation here just to see it. The ice rink is a lot smaller than it looks on TV and it’s way too expensive to skate.

Check it out if you’re in the area, but don’t go out of your way to get there.

Way, way too many people. The tree is pretty every year, and if it’s not too crowded, it can be fun to watch the ice skaters. But the sheer number of people makes it not worth doing more than once.
