Bonnaroo Music Festival

Wow…simply wow. This was an amazing experience. The camping, the people and of course the music. I went alone because a firend bailed on me at the last minute but that was alright because there its like camping out with a community of friends even if you know absolutley no one. Everyone is soooo helpful and nice. Of course you’re going to see some odd things and people but the overeall atmosphere of the place is just “chilled”. I’m totally going back next year and hopeful all my years to come.

It was my first Bonnaroo ever. I had no idea what to expect, but I knew it would be amazing. I never imagined it would impact my life the way it has. I miss it so badly and I just left only yesterday. There are so many good people there and so many great things to experience. Center Roo is amazing at night. All the vendors are great and food is great as well. The people make the experience though. 80,000 people… 80,000 stoned, fucked-up out of their heads (myself included) all swaying together and washing each other’s feet (true story, I was there).
It was amazing.
It changed my life and I’ll never be the same again.

Oh man, where do you begin to tell a story about Bonnaroo? Could it be a story about how you fell asleep during the Police show last year, so you’d be wide awake for the Flaming Lips? Could it be a story about how Sasha and Digweed seemed to be dancing all night and just kept going, and it’s now a long running joke? Or could it be how you met some kids at the hotel before you went, and wouldn’t ya know, magicly, they put their tent up right near yours?
Bonnaroo was one of the best experiences of my life. If your thinking of going, but aren’t sure, just GO! You’ll thank me later.

Best time of my life. can’t wait to go again.

It’s HOT. And dusty and dirty. And there’s no chance to get clean.
And the music’s so good. And the people are all a little crazy (mostly in a good way).

And it’s in Tennessee. Why WOULDN’T you want to go?!

Just bring a canopy and some baby wipes, and you’re good to go.

Bonnaroo was the best experience of my life. Bar none. Four days of nothing but lounging around smoking and listening to music. Everyone there is also really nice and looks out for one another. Such a peaceful and loving vibe. Unless you’re a total square and will ruin it for the rest of us, I’d recommend going at least once in your life. I know I’m going again this year! :)

If you go to Bonnaroo Music Festival, do the VIP camping.. it is SO much better and the walk to your campsite is closer.. plus you can hear the music while you are hanging out at your site.

Otherwise you may get stuck being an hour walk from your site and when you just wanna go back and grab something, eat, nap, whatever you spend your free time walking there and back and miss too much of the show.

Yup. This is the year. After the amazing music experience I had with all those great people last night at the Warren Haynes Christmas Jam, after being invited to this year’s Bonnaroo by a couple of great people, after talking with more fabulous people who are also going this year…DEFINITELY on the list for 2007. Amen.

Everything about the ‘roo is amazing. The atmosphere, the people, and of course the music.
Bonnaroo 2006 was the best four days of my life. I will never forget my experiences there.
I’m looking forward to next year so much.
