Eiffel Tower

The view is totally different than the one from The Stratosphere and well worth the $.

I almost lost my cool on the elevator up. It was a little barf-inducing being so exposed, but I was ok when I got to the top.

The view of Vegas is great, and I promised my wife I would take her to the real Eiffel Tower while we were up there.

... not the real deal. It’s great seeing the one in Vegas, but it’s no substitute for the real thing.

And, no, Jason, you complete dork, it’s NOT “the same size as the real one in Paris.”

Jeez.

What a great way to see the city! I went up close to the last tour, so it was already dark out. Perfect though, because Las Vegas is a city of lights, and the best time to see them is at night. I was able to grab a stunning photo of the cityscape from this location.

I wanted to walk up but got there too late in the day. I believe it is the tallest structure in Paris. It is the only way to view the City of Lights.

I want to visit France and see the Eiffel Tower sometime in the near future. It’s one of those iconic buildings that you must in your lifetime come see. Paris the capital of love, i’m hoping to learn french in the next year or two.

Worth it just to get the view of the Strip and the surrounding area from up here. I made the mistake of being in a skirt in chilly windy weather so we didn’t stay long, otherwise we would really have made use of our time up there!
