If you only have time to check out one floor, make it the food hall on the 6th. What a great place! We got lost wandering around, there was always so much to look at that we kept on going off in different directions rather than methodically working our way round. Just the chocolates section alone kept us occupied for ages, looking at all the unusual flavours, such as chilli and mango.

At many of the counters, there are areas where you can pull up a bar stool and eat the freshly cooked produce. Otherwise there is always the lovely 7th floor restaurant with its curved glass roof that reminded me of the dome on the Reichstag.

Had a funny sort of newbie experience.
Having lunch in the delightful high-ceiling restaurant, where you can pick out what you’d like. (No, it’s not at all like a US-style mall food court)
Well, thinking I was getting some sort of water or juice, I ended up having a rather nice little bottle of wine. Somehow the design of the bottle drew me and the wording was just small enough not to look too closely.
It was already a pleasant visit, and I guess I just relaxed a little bit more after that. Had a nice laugh on that one.

So much good food. Not bad shopping I might add.

aside from the shopping, make sure you check out the upper level food section… great food there…

it wasn’t too exciting and not any different than a bunch of smaller stores put together.

This is one of the best shopping places i have ever been. You can find pretty much everything. My favorite place is the 5th floor where they have the food section. An entire floor dedicated to quality food. 100’s type of cheeses, tea, jam, etc. You can also eat there. Try the gratinated Oyster.
